There is already some good material (15 paintings) but there is more to come for, perhaps, the most challenging of my future exhibitions. Dedicated to GREECE.

A little moon will have its place in many of my paintings. Moonlight by the Libyan Sea, southern Crete, is breathtaking.

Traditional houses of Greece, landscapes, deserted places, old doors, have always being a source of inspiration and strong emotions for me. One of my future exhibitions will definitely be about Greece through my eyes.
So far 15 of these paintings are already completed.

ARTWORK: "ROCCA AL MARE I" (2008)
One of my first pastel paintings. The one that made me go on. Night scene at the port of Heraklion, Crete.
Part of the imposing medieval fortress of Koules, which still stands at the beginning of the western breakwater of the modern port of Heraklion. Its real name is Rocca al Mare, named so by its Venetian founders, almost 500 years ago.
